Financial Assistant
Our client is in New Haven, and they are looking for a financial assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this person include researching and posting AR payments, auditing, analyzing income statements approving and depositing cash sales and processing lockbox transactions.
Main Responsibilities of the Financial Assistant:
- The Financial Assistant will Review and approve financial records through detailed auditing processes.
- Handles inbound inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person interactions, using targeted questions to assess customer needs.
- Identifies, evaluates, and analyzes issues, conducting thorough research to resolve concerns while ensuring compliance with policies.
- Resolves both standard and unique issues by leveraging technology and process expertise.
- Maintains accurate records of resolutions and ensures timely communication with relevant contacts.
- Directs inquiries to the appropriate resource or team based on established guidelines and procedures.
- Keeps process, functional, and technical skills up to date by participating in training and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications of the Financial Assistant:
- Cash handling in bank, or similar experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Comfortable in a fast paced, high volume customer service environment
